Cassandra H. Fultz – Founder, Immigration Expert, Renowned Public Speaker, and Acclaimed Author

Hello! I’m Cassandra, originally from the U.S., who decided Canada was worth calling home back in 2008 — and I haven’t looked back since. I started my journey in the Canadian immigration world in 2009, and in 2014, I founded Doherty Fultz Immigration right here in Toronto.

I’m proudly a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (R#514356) and a Specialist on the Immigration and Refugee Board, which means I get to help clients navigate everything from refugee claims to immigration appeals — sometimes even convincing the system to give a second chance when things didn’t go as planned the first time.

At DFI, I focus on tricky cases like Procedural Fairness Letters, Study Permits, and PR Card Renewals on Humanitarian and Compassionate Grounds. I also handle applications for Criminal Rehabilitation, Temporary Resident Permits, Canadian citizenship, Family Sponsorships, and Visitor Visas. Long story short: if it involves Canadian immigration, I probably have experience with it — and a pretty good track record to boot.

When I’m not advocating for my clients, you might hear me sharing insights on Global News Toronto or tuning into national Global News Radio stations.

Teaching is another passion of mine — I was the Architect and Program Director for the Immigration Case Manager program at Herzing College Toronto from 2021 to 2024, and even snagged Herzing College Faculty of the Year for all of Canada in 2021. (Proof that immigration law can be interesting… or maybe just that I know how to keep a class awake.)

Oh, and just for fun, I’m also a certified Sommelier with the Canadian Association of Professional Sommeliers. Because after navigating complex immigration files, sometimes a nice glass of wine is exactly what you need.

If you want straightforward advice without the jargon or endless legalese — plus a friendly face who genuinely cares about your future in Canada — you’ve come to the right place.
