Speaking

Engagements

As a speaker & subject matter expert, I bring clarity to complicated legal topics.

Selected Engagements

Canadian citizenship and immigration law is constantly evolving, and understanding the practical implications can be challenging for employers, HR professionals, lawyers, and immigration practitioners alike.

I regularly speak at conferences and professional events across Canada, translating complex legal developments into practical, actionable guidance. Whether discussing legislative changes, emerging trends, or real-world case studies, my goal is always the same: to help audiences leave with greater clarity and confidence.

Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA)

I've been proud to contribute to HRPA's flagship employment law events in a variety of leadership and speaking roles.

  • 2026 – Co-Chair, HRPA Annual HR Law Conference

  • 2025 – Co-Chair, HRPA Annual HR Law Conference

  • 2024 – Panel Chair, HRPA Summit

  • 2024 – Panelist, HRPA Annual HR Law Conference

Keynote Speaker

Herzing College Convocation | 2019

Returning to Herzing College to deliver the 2019 convocation keynote was especially meaningful because it was where my own career in Canadian immigration began.

Speaking to graduates entering the profession as a second career for many of them, I reflected on the courage it takes to choose a new direction, the significance of reaching that milestone, and the importance of taking a moment to celebrate everything they've accomplished before beginning the next chapter.

Speaking in Action

From conferences and professional development events to panel discussions and keynote presentations, I enjoy helping professionals understand complex legal issues through practical, engaging, and accessible presentations.
